Naeem Khan's Stunning Fall 2017 Collection

Naeem Khan's 2017 Fall collection was absolutely breathtaking! I truly enjoyed seeing his designs at this year's New York Fashion Week. His 2017 fall collection was inspired by a mix of different cultures and ethnic traditions ranging from the Middle East, Poland and India. The entire collection screamed diversity, a concept that the talented designer wanted to highlight in his pieces. Fashion Designer Naeem Khan is well known for his use of embroideries and embellishments. The show opened up with a sexy linear beaded jacket and pants worn casually over a sexy laced bra. Other pieces showcased on the catwalk featured sophisticated velvet drawstring pants, jumpsuits, jackets and gowns. It also included sequin animal print and floral prints, fringed minis, and body-hugging short dresses. The final piece on the runway was quite spectacular! The show ended with a single model walking down the runway sporting a majestic ball gown accessorized with a lavish gold flower crown and a veil to match. The model walked slowly and gracefully as Maya Angelou's poem "Human Family" reverberated across the room, spreading Naeem’s important message of diversity. I absolutely loved it! The designer’s intention certainly shone through his collection. He managed to create a contemporary blend of techniques and art from different cultures of the world and packaged it all in one classy ready to wear collection. This was truly an inspiring collection!
